1st Annual Chesterfield Fire Co. Virtual 'I Run For The Volunteers'

Thanksgiving is always a good time to reflect on what you are thankful for.  This year, before your Thanksgiving feast, consider taking to the streets, running your favorite trail, walking on your treadmill or hopping-and-skipping down the lane, to sharing your support and thankfulness for the Volunteer Firefighters and EMTs who give of themselves day in, and day out, supporting their community, and take part of the 1st Annual “I Run For The Volunteers” virtual run to support your Chesterfield Fire Company.

The Chesterfield Fire Company’s 1st Annual I Run For The Volunteers is a virtual 5K run you can join from wherever you are, be it within the Chesterfield Fire District, elsewhere in Montville, on the beach in Florida, in the wide open spaces of Wyoming, or along the mountains of Alaska, or any safe location you choose.

Your race entry fee directly goes towards helping support the operations of the Chesterfield Fire Company.   If you choose to have friends and family sponsor you as you run, those funds go directly towards the Chesterfield Fire Company.

Run any time you’d like between November 22 to November 29 2020, any time you’d like in any location you’d like.

As a thank you for your support, any entrants in the Chesterfield Fire Company’s 1st Annual ‘I Run For The Volunteers’ virtual 5K run will receive a limited edition t-shirt with our dinosaur mascot … Chester … on it, front and back, displaying your commitment to running for the volunteers.

Those running for the volunteers locally may pick up their shirts at the Chesterfield Fire Station, those not local to Montville, CT, will have their shirts mailed to them,
