Chase the Chief 5K-Bridgeport Race Description

Who is faster you or the Chief?  This race starts in beautiful Downtown Bridgeport, Texas and takes place on all cement/paved roadways.  After the race is complete, stick around for the 1st Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival!

Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall finishers!

 

This race benefits the Sgt. Randy White Scholarship Fund.

Great cause

Very laid back relaxed atmosphere. No packets, no number, no chips and no official timing that I was aware of (I heard someone calling out times as some folks crossed the finish but didn't hear it for every runner). Run was on city streets. Proceeds are for a great cause - scholarship fund in memory of a slain officer. I recommend this run for any level runner/walker.
