For This Child Foundation 5k

On average, there are 1.5 million children living in institutions across Eastern Europe. 4 out of 5, which is about 1.2 million children were placed there intentionally because they have Down Syndrome or another non-correctable medical diagnosis. Of those 1.2 million children placed in institutions intentionally, half of them, equating to 600 thousand, will never make it to their 21^st birthday.

For This Child is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2021 to provide grants and financial assistance to families adopting children with non-correctible medical needs from Eastern European countries in the form of adoption grants.  

Down Syndrome is one of most prominent medical needs that result in the institutionalization of children in Eastern Europe.  Join us on March 21st, 2022...known as World Down Syndrome Day...to support a cause that provides financial assistance in the form of adoption grants to families adopting children with medical needs internationally!
