Pacific Roller Derby 5K

Pacific Roller Derby out of Honolulu, Hawaii is hosting their first ever Virtual 5k! Not a runner? No worries! We encourage everyone to simply get outside, be it running, walking, or better yet…. Skating!

Pacific Roller Derby is a registered non-profit, and we look to our league members and community for support. A portion of the proceeds will go back into our league organization. We pride ourselves on the empowerment of current and future skaters. Funds help us maintain the gear with which we build confidence and courage among our members which goes beyond the track and into their daily lives.

For many of us, roller derby was a place that gave us a second chance. It’s a community accepting of everyone and that encourages growth. Being connected to our local community is also a huge priority to our league. Proceeds from this race will also go to Pu'uhonua O Wai'anae. This is a village of approximately 250 people living unhoused on the edge of the Wai'anae Boat Harbor on the leeward side of O'ahu.  It is home to children, working families and kupuna (elders). A majority of residents are Native Hawaiian.

Race can be completed any time through the last day, 31 October. Your $25 registration includes one PRD 5K medal while supplies last. Medals are limited distribution and will only be available for the first 100 registrants. Shirts are available for purchase at registration and through the Race Store link at the top of the page. Shipping for medals and t-shirts will start after the race ends, 31 October.
