Quilts of Valor Take Five

It’s that time of year for our annual Take 5: Walk, Run, Block virtual event, where members and supporters will walk or run a 5k race or make quilt blocks to create Quilts of Valor! To date, we have awarded over 400,000 Quilt of Valor across the United States with over 38,000 quilts awarded each year.

This year’s event is on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Please join us to participate any time from June 8 - 14 to complete your choice of race activity. 

During June 8 - 14, you have the option to coordinate virtually a 5k, walk 5 blocks in your community on the treadmill, or at your local park.  If walking/running is not your thing, plan on making 5 quilt blocks at home or plan a Sew Day in your neighborhood. The flexibility of this virtual event creates participants to engage in a way that works best for them.

Participate with your pet: We are excited to announce a new opportunity for our members and supporters who wish to take part with their dogs. Participants fee with their dogs is $40.00

Participants fee without pet included is $35.00
